CONCORD, N.C. -- As much of the nation enjoyed a long weekend, the NASCAR circuit took some time off as well.
And Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. made sure to take advantage.
Gordon's adventures aren't quite finished, as his children are set to take part in the 137th annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Meanwhile, he will appear on a special edition of LIVE with Kelly and Michael at the White House.
But before all of that, the Gordon family still had time for a little Easter fun.
Two of Gordon's teammates got out on the water during the weekend away from racing. First up was Johnson, who took his daughter fishing.
Earnhardt, meanwhile, even got the dogs involved in the action.
Kahne, meanwhile, made sure to tune in to the NCAA Tournament action, and didn't seem to mind when Wisconsin knocked off Kentucky to head to the championship game.
With the relaxing weekend out of the way, it's back to work as Saturday's race at Texas Motor Speedway approaches.
