And when those 24 days elapse, Jeff Gordon will be sporting the iconic rainbow scheme on his No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS.
We can't wait to see the paint scheme under the lights on Aug. 22, and neither can Gordon.
With that in mind, we thought we'd take a look at a few surprises the driver of the No. 24 had in store for fans that tweeted their excitement about the return of the rainbow.
