BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Jimmie Johnson, who has earned a top-five finish in both of the past two races at Bristol Motor Speedway, worked Friday to push toward a similar result on Saturday.

Johnson qualified 10th, and will lead his Hendrick Motorsports teammates to the green flag under the lights in the No. 48 Lowe's ProServices Chevrolet SS.

Kasey Kahne and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start side-by-side in 19th and 20th, respectively.

Their No. 5 Great Clips Chevrolet SS and No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS will be followed by Jeff Gordon's No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS, which qualified 24th.

Denny Hamlin took the pole position.
