CONCORD, N.C. -- Last month, competitors throughout the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ran teal-colored steering wheels to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
Among those participating were Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kasey Kahne, Jimmie Johnson and Alex Bowman.
The teal steering wheels were designed to honor fellow competitor Martin Truex Jr. and his longtime girlfriend Sherry Pollex, who is an ovarian cancer survivor.
Now, the steering wheels have been autographed and are being auctioned off -- with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation, raising awareness and funds for childhood and ovarian cancer research.
The wheel autographed by Bowman and Earnhardt can be seen here, the wheel autographed by Johnson is available here and the wheel autographed by Kahne is available here.
