AVONDALE, Ariz. – It’s race day at Phoenix International Raceway. Here’s a primer to get you prepared.
RACE RUNDOWN:
Today’s race at Phoenix International Raceway will be broadcast on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The race runs 312 laps. Stage 1 ends on Lap 75. Stage 2 ends on Lap 150.
The green flag is scheduled for approximately 3:44 p.m. ET.
STARTING POSITIONS:
Dale Earnhardt Jr. will lead his teammates to the green flag in the second row, starting third.
Chase Elliott starts in seventh, Kasey Kahne rolls off the grid in 10th and Jimmie Johnson will take the green flag in 14th.
HOW PRACTICE WENT:
KEY STAT: Johnson and Earnhardt rank second and third, respectively, in all-time wins at Phoenix. Earnhardt most recently won for the organization at the track in November 2015.
