BROOKLYN, Mich. -- With Stage 2 in the books, 120 laps have elapsed Sunday at Michigan International Speedway and all four Hendrick Motorsports teammates are inside the top 20.
As he did in Stage 1, Chase Elliott led his teammates to the green-checkered flag, but this time he was just outside of the top 10.
Elliott drove his No. 24 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS to an 11th-place result in Stage 2.
Jimmie Johnson crossed the line next in 14th, followed by Kasey Kahne in 17th. Both drivers started the race at the rear of the field in backup cars.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. made an early green-flag pit stop in Stage 2 after reporting a bit of a vibration while battling the handling of the No. 88 Axalta Chevrolet SS. He finished Stage 2 in 19th.
The race will conclude with a final, 80-lap segment.
