CONCORD, N.C. – For 12-time NASCAR Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports, 2018 will bring with it a new era.
Two young stars will join the fold, the legendary No. 9 car will return to the track and the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 race car will debut.
And next week, it will all come together for the first time.
On Oct. 5, Hendrick Motorsports will reveal all four of its 2018 Daytona 500 primary paint schemes together.
Fans will see Chase Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, William Byron’s No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Alex Bowman’s No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
The 2018 driver lineup will be joined at the event by Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick, four-time Cup champion Jeff Gordon, 14-time most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and 1988 Cup champion Bill Elliott.
And Hendrick Motorsports fans are invited.
On Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. ET, the 2018 car unveiling will be covered live on NASCAR.com and the Hendrick Motorsports Facebook page. The reveal will be followed by a post-event show featuring interviews with the Hendrick Motorsports team.
