CONCORD, N.C. – William Byron has many talents off the track.
Not only did he matriculate through school while racing, but he was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America.
In fact, he was honored this week at the annual Good Scout Awards Breakfast.
As a Boy Scout, he had many favorite activities. But believe it or not, his least favorite was camping.
“Definitely the toughest part for me was the campouts,” Byron said. “I wasn’t a huge camping fan.”
