CONCORD, N.C. – Since the very beginning of their relationship, Lowe’s and Jimmie Johnson have utilized the red, white and blue to create powerful patriotic paint schemes.
Through the years, the No. 48 ride has featured many different patriotic looks, and along the way many men and women of the military have been honored on the car.
In a new video, No. 48 team crew chief Chad Knaus relays that the patriotic schemes have “always represented one thing: the power of pride.”
“Pride for those who serve, who have served, and for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice,” Knaus continued.
This Memorial Day weekend, the No. 48 team will honor SSG Frankie Phillips IV on the Lowe’s Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Lowe’s has a lengthy history of supporting the military and employs thousands of veterans, active military and Guard/Reserve members.
