CONCORD, N.C. – This weekend, all four Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s will sport fresh looks for the Southern 500.
Three teammates, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Jimmie Johnson, will pilot rides with memorable throwback schemes.
Elliott's scheme pays tribute to a car driven by his late cousin Casey Elliott, Byron will sport a rainbow-themed design paying homage to Jeff Gordon's iconic ride from the 1990s and Johnson will climb behind the wheel of a throwback Lowe's/Kobalt Tools scheme commemorating the ride he drove to Victory Lane at Darlington in 2012, earning Hendrick Motorsports its 200th win.
Alex Bowman will drive the No. 88 LLumar Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the very first time this season.
