WOKING, England -- Although the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season has come to a close, Jimmie Johnson can still be found in a race car over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion departed Miami, Florida, Monday for London, which is where he's kicking off a week of international travel also including Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, where he'll swap cars with Fernando Alonso.
Wednesday, Johnson visited the McLaren Technology Centre, where he got an in-depth look at the Formula 1 facility before spending time in the racing simulator and being fitted for his seat.
