CONCORD, N.C. - Unceasing rainfall on Thursday prompted NASCAR officials to postpone Sprint Cup testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway until Friday. Weather-permitting, the test should run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and fans are invited to attend free-of-charge.

The originally scheduled two-day test session is the second one NASCAR has held this month. Just last week, the Hendrick Motorsports teams tested the 2013 Chevrolet SS at the 2.5-mile Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.
