CONCORD, N.C. – Kids, don’t try this at home.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s impressive feats inside the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS have earned the driver the distinct honor of a Kids’ Choice Sports 2015 nomination – specifically for the Don’t Try This At Home Award.

He’s joined in the category by professional snowboarders Danny Davis and Kelly Clark, professional alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn, professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston and fellow motorsports athlete Travis Pastrana.

The second annual Kids’ Choice Sports 2015, the awards show celebrating kids’ favorite athletes and sports moments of the year, will be hosted by Russell Wilson. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback will have just participated alongside Kasey Kahne in the second annual The DRIVE, a charity concert, auction and celebrity-amateur golf event in Washington.

And for the second straight year, kids from around the country will control the destiny of each awards category, showing their support to determine which of their favorite athletes, teams and sports moments will take home a cherished, one-of-a-kind Nickelodeon orange mohawked blimp trophy. Voting is open until Thursday, July 9.

With special guests, performances, outrageous competitions and unique categories, Kids’ Choice Sports 2015 is sure to be one of the most fun awards shows of the year – and it’s up to you whether Earnhardt will take home a trophy in the process.
