Fontana qualifying: Johnson and Martin in top 10

FONTANA, Calif. (Feb. 19, 2010) -- Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin earned spots in the top 10 during Friday's NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying session at Auto Club Speedway. Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet, will line up seventh, while Martin, driver of the No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet will roll off the grid 10th. Their Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon will start from the 14th row. Earnhardt, driving a specially painted No. 88 AMP Energy Juice/National Guard Chevrolet, will line up 27th. Gordon, driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, earned the 28th starting spot. Race coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on FOX.
