Tickets available for Hendrick Motorsports’ Fan Zone this weekend

CONCORD, N.C. (May 19, 2009) – Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. all will be on hand Sunday pre-race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and you can join in on the fun. Hendrick Motorsports is participating in pre-race Fan Zone hospitality at this weekend’s 50th running of the 600-mile event at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The Hendrick Motorsports Fan Zone pass is $139 and includes a race ticket to Diamond Tower seating. "Each NASCAR team fan zone will give race fans a chance to have their own driver or team pep rally long before the green flag drops,” said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Lowe’s Motor Speedway. “It's also a creative way to combine corporate hospitality for team sponsors with the fans that are the lifeblood of our sport.” The package includes a catered meal, soft drinks, souvenir gift bag and a question-and-answer session with Hendrick Motorsports’ four Cup drivers: Martin, Gordon, Johnson and Earnhardt. Team show cars will be on site, and there will be other fun activities for fans. While the all-inclusive NASCAR team Fan Zone pass includes a Diamond Tower race ticket, the pre-race hospitality ticket can be purchased individually for $99.
