CONCORD, N.C. -- Tuesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports teammates Chase Elliott and Jimmie Johnson joined fellow NASCAR Cup Series competitors at "Test Fest."
The drivers participated in a test at the track's new ROVAL configuration -- a 2.28-mile, 17-turn road-course oval.
It was their first chance to hit the track in advance of the Sep. 30 Bank of America ROVAL 400 race weekend.
Fellow Hendrick Motorsports drivers William Byron and Alex Bowman will get their turn to test the track next Tuesday, July 17.
