LOUDON, N.H. – Due to the continued threat of inclement weather in the area, the start time for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been moved up.
The race is now scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
Qualifying took place Friday evening, with Alex Bowman leading his teammates in the session with a top-10 starting position in eighth.
Chase Elliott joined his teammate inside the top 10 and will start Sunday’s race in 10th.
William Byron will roll off grid right behind Elliott, earning an 11th-place starting position.
Jimmie Johnson will start 21st after advancing to the second round of the session.
Sunday afternoon’s race will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network, PRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
