CONCORD, N.C. -- The 2020 NASCAR Awards Show will honor Chase Elliott and Jimmie Johnson during its broadcast on Nov. 18.
The 90-minute show will pay tribute to all 2020 NASCAR champions, including Elliott. The 24-year-old driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE earned his first Cup Series title Sunday after a hard-fought effort at Phoenix Raceway.
Seven-time Cup Series champion Johnson will receive a special tribute after he completed his last full-time season in the highest level of stock-car racing.
The 2020 Most Popular Driver will be announced during the show along with the recipient of the Bill France Award of Excellence. Elliott has won the Most Popular Driver award the last two years.
Award-winning musician Chris Stapleton will take the stage to perform a single from his new album, as well.
The 2020 NASCAR Awards Show will air Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
