CONCORD, N.C. - A new round calls for a new look.
At least for Alex Bowman, who will run the fan-designed Koker's Garage scheme on his No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this weekend at Kansas Speedway to kick off the NASCAR Cup Series Round of 12.
All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers advanced through the first round, with Kyle Larson punctuating the initial three-race flurry with a dominant win at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
Larson will enter Sunday's race - set to start at 3 p.m. and airing on USA Network - as the points leader, 39 points above the cutline. William Byron (fourth, plus-14) and Chase Elliott (seventh, plus-six) are also on the right side of the elimination point to start the round while Alex Bowman (tied for 11th, minus-7) has a little work to do.
